This training is an update and redesign of a course offered at a Top 5 higher ed institution. I redesigned this course and taught it as a member of the Human Resources Training & Organizational Development team. In a dual effort, some assets that were created as a companion to this training were developed in my Filmmaking Principles for Instructional Design and Game Strategies and Motivation classes in my master’s program.

    THE WHY

This training is intended for faculty and staff to learn strategies to hold more effective meetings for team building, higher morale, and productivity. The course explores the practical and socio-emotional effects of meetings in the workplace, the negative consequences of ineffective meetings, techniques to run a great meeting, outlines different structures of meetings, and how technology can aid in the improvement of meetings.
